What do you like best about Aiven Platform?

Aiven is very easy to use and deploy (in our cloud if needed). Their support is good and helpful. They will give us right docs and reference for BYOA too. It is easy to spin up the services and manage users. Pricing is straight forward.

Implementing the communication with Aiven services is almost same with services which we self host or use.

What do you dislike about Aiven Platform?

I feel like bit pricy (Even with BYOA, Instance and storage cost interms of Initial setup cost. Instead of just having double the infra in plans, they can inroduce more adjustable plans to have infra scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Avien helps with managing our OLTP database applications through its buffer allocation feature. It effectively captures changes that are made in our Cassandra instances and buffers them into the specified operational data stores of our choosing. It enables configuring our Cassandra instances to replicate data across different downstream data stores. The dislike from my side on using Aiven for our Cassandra instances is none as it can scale out any number of nodes to manage our workloads thanks to its linear scalability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Aiven for Apache Cassandra?

The main advantage of this solution is the support for updates that are carried out in apache Cassandra, and you have them in a single point. The update is as simple as going to the web administration console and selecting the instance you manage to perform the update. It also facilitates cluster management to see which machines are consuming more resources and thus balance or add more replicas to the cluster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
