For a smaller company they offer better health care solutions and pricing. However, I believe their lack of knowledge of payroll rules and their antiquated system has required me to bring on more help just to ensure my payroll gets processed correctly. If you aren't aware of payroll regulations, you will find TriNet does things differently than other reputable payroll companies. They do always make the decision that puts the most money in their pocket and often the most detrimental decisions for your employees pocketbooks.

Working with a PEO is not for everyone, but as a small company, I really appreciate the assistance I receive with HR issues and questions. Payroll is so much easier, because they deal with the Payroll Taxes and regulations which reduces our risk of making mistakes. They are also able to offer benefits at a lower cost because they group everyone together. They help keep us in compliance and provide us with required posters that need to be posted in our office. It is also nice to be able to talk through issues and questions with someone who can help you come to the right conclusion.

Employees are grouped together to form one large group. This means that the PEO can provide health coverage at lower rates as a large organization. Help manage paperwork, other HR support without adding a staff member. Get expert assistance with payroll taxes and regulations, reducing risk of mistakes or omissions. Note, a PEO is not a good fit for everyone. You should consider your specific situtation before you decide.
