Why is the app slower when opening project’s

We have been having delays in the app when working on file and the projects hence we had to change it

I would agree that the app tends to be slower than the web based platform. I use both in conjunction with each other and see that when I need speed, I am on the web and when I am methodically working through my projects I can use the app.

I would 2nd that, unlike the website which loads it all at once, the app has to load it upon clicking, I find it much slower.

The app is slower while opening projects because it's loading all that information. You can try clearing space on your phone to see if that helps, or simply access Basecamp on a computer.
