Why is it sometimes hard to find the files that one has downloaded?

I mean depending on the device that the application is on. For instance a mobile phone. I have found it hard to find some of my files.

Why when you download a lot of content it becomes more difficult to find, that's why it's better to create folders in Dropbox to divide the content and thus find it better.
