If you upgrade to Basecamp 2 it's alot faster if that's the one you have try un- installing it and start over after that it could be you need more memory space

Basecamp is bloated so phone apps are slow. I used Basecamp for many years but switched to ApolloHQ last year because Basecamp does not have critical path, integral timesheets, or integral CRM and is not evolving useful features in general. Apollo works directly in phone browsers so it is much faster and easier to use; it has more features (critical path, timesheets, CRM) and is less expensive.

Because it's a big software and all is knows that mobile has a very minimal performance as compare to the pc which performs better than mobile so it is difficult to handle much wider and bugger software at a very low performative device.

You may want to try the app instead.

I have not had an issue with Basecamp 2 or Basecamp 3 on my mobile phone. Maybe you have a connectivity or memory issue on your phone.
