Which managed detection and response software do you trust most right now?

Hi all!

We’ve been thinking about stepping up our threat detection and incident response. There’s no shortage of MDR providers out there, but it’s tough to know which ones really deliver when it matters.

I’ve seen a few names consistently show up on G2, including:

  1. Huntress Managed EDR: Designed for small businesses and MSPs, Huntress offers a combination of automated detection and human threat hunting to stop advanced attacks.
  2. Arctic Wolf: Provides a concierge security team that delivers 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, and response services.
  3. CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Protection Platform: A cloud-native platform that unifies next-generation antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and managed threat hunting.
  4. Sophos MDR: Offers 24/7 threat hunting, detection, and response capabilities delivered by an expert team as a fully-managed service.
  5. Red Canary: Provides a range of MDR services via its Security Operations Platform, aiming to detect and respond to threats quickly.

Would really appreciate some real feedback- what’s worked for your security team? Any platform you’ve been especially happy with (or frustrated by)?

Red Canary seems to come up often. If you’ve used it, does it really cut through alert fatigue like they claim?
