We use Azure Monitor primarily for application performance monitoring across our cloud services. It gives us real-time visibility into app health, tracks metrics like response times and failure rates, and helps us pinpoint backend issues quickly with distributed tracing. prod use cases:- - Real-time alerts for critical issues like web app downtime, CPU hitting 100%, or database storage nearing full capacity - Alert notifications via email and voice call using Action Groups, ensuring our team is instantly informed - Web app availability tests through Application Insights, which simulate user traffic from multiple regions and alert us if the site is down or slow - Deep diagnostics with transaction-level tracing, letting us drill into failed requests, dependency calls, and performance bottlenecks - Seamless CI/CD integration for proactive DevOps monitoring - Autoscaling and remediation workflows triggered automatically based on alert thresholds Overall, Azure Monitor has helped us reduce downtime, improve SLA compliance, and deliver a more reliable experience to our users.
