Usercentrics is used to help organizations comply with data privacy regulations. Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (CMP) enables the display of a cookie banner on websites and apps. This provides information about cookies and other trackers in use on the website/app, so users know how their personal data may be collected and used. Website and app cookies collect data for analytics, marketing, user experience, and other functions. The CMP also enables users to choose if they consent to the collection and use of their personal data or not. The CMP stores consent choices so users can change or revoke them in the future, in case of an audit by data protection authorities, and so users aren't asked for consent every time they use the website or app. Depending on which regulations an organization has to comply with, Usercentrics CMP enables them to obtain consent before any data collection or to enable users to opt out of data sharing or sale later on. Different countries have different privacy law requirements, so organizations may have to comply with one or more laws. Usercentrics CMP has geolocation functionality to display specific information to users (and in the user's preferred language) depending on where they are and which laws may apply to them. Usercentrics also has other related products. Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) streamline responses to users who contact organizations about exercising their legal rights under privacy laws. Timely response to DSARs is a requirement of most data protection regulations. Usercentrics Preference Manager enables organizations to record and store specific information about how users want to be communicated with, about what topics, and other preferences to customize and improve user experience. Combined with consent preferences, this information can be used across marketing operations to ensure that user interactions happen with consent and are based on users' preferences, which helps build trusted, long-term relationships.
