if I had to define INMARSAT in one word, I would say RELIABILITY. Who has never had a disruption to the fixed telephone network at home? Well, INMARSAT has never caused disservices to its customers. A breakdown can occur anywhere, but the special architecture of INMARSAT means that if a certain infrastructure in the world has failures, it can be temporarily replaced by another on the planet. An architecture that I would define as simple and ingenious at the same time, at least for the end user, who can choose how and where to send his data. It is precisely this that has made INMARSAT technology historical and active and has ensured that its services were always in step with the times, updating the technology more on terrestrial stations than on satellites, unlike other constellations that have not managed to evolve equal in step with the increasingly demanding needs of an increasingly varied audience.
