Splunk enterprise is a big data analysis platform (basic product needed for splunk enterprise security) that collects, stores and can analyze data (logs) . Splunk enterprise security is the SIEM application of splunk running on Splunk enterprise, that normalizes and analyzes the logs from a cyber security point of view. Attention: Both products have separate licenses and costs.
