What is the best way to set up character limits in a 'fill in the blank question'?

Wanting my users to answer the questions in at least 150 characters but not sure how to set up the box to be checked off after they hit that character mark. This will help me make sure the answers have enough substance to work with after the face.

Kathryn, be cautious. The error rate on data input into forms is very high at present, because the available choices or text boxes are too limited. Also, people get frustrated with this and won't respond, so you lose data validity. In my experience as analyst and scientist, it's always a good idea to offer some kind of contact info. and response support.

Kathryn, the best option is to use the single text box. Configure the text box to limit character input from your users. The steps to do this can be found here. https://help.surveymonkey.com/articles/en_US/kb/Can-I-validate-responses-typed-into-the-open-ended-fields
