What is the best way for files stored in Dropbox to prevent ransomware attacks?

Ransomware attacks are common these days. Will my files be safe in Dropbox if my laptop gets infected by ransomware?

Use Windows backup service (File History) and set your important file auto-backup on Dropbox folder. Disable all apps' access to Dropbox folder except Dropbox.
