Microsoft Access helps you analyze large amounts of information, and manage related data more efficiently than Microsoft Excel.

I love MS Access and rely on it daily. For me it all about Data Manipulation and joining related data sets. Years ago, I would create an application, use Forms, and create Reports. But now I use Import to Link many different business tables. Then I create queries that join these tables together. Macros work wonders to create nice long streams of work (queries). I never create reports because my users always want to filter or search my results, So a copy/paste or Export to Excel is always ideal.
