DevOps performance metrics as referenced in the recent State of DevOps Report are key indicators on how well an organization is practicing DevOps. These metrics can be broken into two categories; Throughput and Stability: Throughput - How frequently code is deployed and How long it takes for changes to reach the customer DF: Deployment Frequency - How often does your organization deploy MLT: Mean Lead Time - What is your lead time for changes Stability - How quickly the value stream can recover from a failure at any point, and how many changes succeed vs fail. MTTR: Mean Time To Recover - The time it takes for pipelines/jobs across a value stream to return to a successful state after a failure CFR: Change Failure Rate - How often a failure happens when a change is pushed
