Yes, there are a few ways to reduce the number of updates on a Windows computer. One way is to use the "Metered connection" feature, which allows you to limit the amount of data used for updates by only downloading important updates. This option can be found in the "Settings" app under "Update & Security" and then "Windows Update." Another way to reduce the number of updates is to use the "Selective Startup" feature in the Task Manager. This allows you to choose which programs and services run when your computer starts up, which can help prevent unnecessary updates. You can also change the setting of Automatic updates to manual updates which will reduce the number of updates, but you need to check for updates manually. Additionally, you can use the "Defer Feature Updates" feature to delay the installation of new feature updates for up to 365 days. This will give you more control over when updates are installed and reduce the number of updates that you need to install at any given time. It's important to note that updates are important for the security and stability of your computer, so it's not recommended to completely disable them.
