I want to know how you can access messages on an iphone on your macbook

I have most of my phone apps on my MacBook, like emails, whatsapp, fitness, apple music, and many other useful apps which I use almost every day. The most important is the cloud account which can help transfer any of your data from different iOS devices. However, I was wondering if it is possible that I can access iPhone text messages on my MacBook. That would be very convenient and useful for me

To receive SMS messages on your Mac, you need to adjust settings on your iPhone. First, navigate to the Messages section in Settings. Then, enable Text Message Forwarding and select your Mac from the list of devices. If two-factor authentication is not enabled, a six-digit code will appear on your Mac, which you must enter on your iPhone to complete the setup.
