I'll be honest. I play in Excel for FUN! (yes, I'm weird!) so learning to use Quip had a bit of a learning curve for me. But now, after over a year, everything I do is in quip and I'm slowly getting the rest of my team to use it too. Quip is fantastic because it's a collaboration system. What I mean by that is that you can have ONE file, that everyone who needs to be involved can have access to - at the same time - and all communications can happen RIGHT THERE IN THE FILE! This eliminates all the back and forth emails, and instant messaging colleagues to get answers when you can just open the file, and look at the comments right on the file. You can also see when changes are made, what changes and who made the changes. Using Quip has streamlined my process and helped immensely. Give it a solid month or two of just playing around and testing it out. Tip! If you are importing an excel file into Quip, I would recommend getting your formatting set up in excel FIRST because there are some excel functions that Quip doesn't have.
