How does most people take a course, as in how long do they typical take to finish a course?

I look at the time as an investment in myself. So the times are fairly legitimate as listed. I write notes as I go along so I will take about 1.5 times the hours listed. For reference I have completed nearly 12 courses through CBT Nuggets.

Hi Laurence! The CBT Nuggets courses vary in length. Some are about an hour long, while others contain 30-40 hours worth of videos. Many of our courses also have Virtual Labs and Kaplan IT Practice Exams. Depending on your comfort with any given topic, you may watch through a course once or multiple times. If you are preparing for a certification exam, a good rule of thumb is to look at the full course duration and multiple by 2 or 3, depending on your level of comfort with the subject matter.
