Yes Wix has limitations for a website builder. There are seemingly thousands of different ways to build a website now. Wix is one of the best-known brands in the website builder world. They’ve been around for quite a while (circa 2006). Until 2018, they built their brand on word of mouth and ease of use. Post-2018, they’ve accelerated that growth with Super Bowl ads, sports sponsorships, and more. I recently had a small project, and a reason to try out many different drag-and-drop website builders.
