No. “Integration” is the wrong word. Rootstock is built natively on the Salesforce Platform using the same APEX code language so there are no integration connections required. Rootstock leverages the same platform security, data model, and user experience including the latest Lightning toolset. This is critically important to understand since other non-native ERPs must write the API integrations AND maintain them as every time that solution—or Salesforce—revs (bug fixes, enhancements, new versions, etc.) the connection defined in API is at risk and may need to be updated. Rootstock and all of the other native AppExchange apps should be considered “apps” of Salesforce.
