How does Smartling's pricing model work?

Smartling charges a base platform subscription plus an allowance for processed words and, if the Smartling Global Delivery Network (GDN) is purchased, an allowance for GDN requests. Additional charges apply for our Connectors, Quick Start implementation packages, and Smartling Professional Services and/or Platinum Service, as requested/needed. Translation and editing services are charged on an all inclusive per-word basis at current market rates for standard or industry specialized translations and there are no minimum charges or project management fees. Other services are charged at an hourly rate. Linguistic task rates vary by language, and non-linguistic tasks are charged at a flat rate
