Email Bounce Issue

We are having trouble with Salesforce recognizing bounces in and exiting prospects from the cadence based on the bounce. Any others face this issue/have a solution?

Have you set the rules (on each active cadence) to exit upon bounce? I won't promise enabling the rule will address the issue, but that's where I'd look first.
