Where can I find a guide on how to implement GeoFencing, without setting it up and giving it a go?

The concept of GeoFencing really impressed me, and I would like to know exactly what is involved, how to set it up, and what the cost would be alongside my QR code package. I think that a combination of QR codes and GeoFencing could increase my business exposure, and then sales, quite significantly.
