Introducing G2.ai, the future of software buying.Try now

Do you need the contribution of other departments (eg. Engineering, Supply Chin etc.) when using Clarizen one? If yes, how do you encourage their contribution, if Clarizen One is not the main system for their department?

Overall, Calrizen One is a great software and now after I use it daily, I don’t know how we managed to work with the old ways of working (eg. Excel). However, there is maybe one downside. As a PM, I work with Engineering, Finance and Supply Chin departments and sometimes I need them to contribute to the information in Clarizen One, however, since this is not the main tool for their departments, sometimes it is hard to make them log in and use the software to its full potential.

Hi Veselina, many of our customers experience similar challenges, in that their projects are "cross-departmental" in nature and require contributions and engagement with other departments. Regarding your question about how to encourage their contribution, we would suggest a change management/training initiative to educate them about the benefits of using Clarizen to manage their individual tasks and contributions to the project in question. Getting those departmental heads' approval and support in this effort will likely help drive adoption among those teams as well.
