If I delete items, are they still somehow taking up my storage space?

Sometimes I delete items but still doesn’t seem to be enough space. Am I missing something?

Depends on if you are actually deleting the files or moving them to "Deleted Files". I would log in to the website and check the "Deleted Files" tab on the left-hand side.
