What is the best amount to charge for RON signings? What is the best way to get the most amount of transactions? How do I do more? What else can I do? Can I use this for closings throughout Florida? Is this website RON certfied? How do I find more people that need Notarization's?
Looking to maximize the amount of notarization I can do, as well as the price I can charge. I would like to be utilized as much as possible, any help I can get that way would be much appreciated. I want to grow my business as quickly as possible and be reliable and efficient for everyone that uses me. I think that Remote online notarization will be highly needed in the coming months while we are still on lockdown in most states, and ideally through the end of the year as I think people will still be very cautious going forward.
Hello, I'm not sure what amount can be charged in Florida. However, you may be able to find the fees on the Secretary of State website. For Texas we can charge $6.00 for the stamp and up to an additional $25 for one document. As far as getting more business for Remote Online Notarization, I would suggest marketing the service on different social medias and apps. The app called Next Door is good, you can also market on Facebook in groups like the Market Place, LinkedIn, and even Twitter. If you would like to make it easier for clients to find you, you can register on Notary directories like Notary Cafe, Notary Depot, and Notary Rotary. I hope this is helpful.
Hello,
Great questions! I hope that my following answers are helpful to you.
For charging for RON Signings, I would suggest taking into account any guidelines set by your state regarding maximum charges for Remote Online Notarizations.
I personally have had issues marketing myself as a Remote Notary because as though my State has approved it, not all title companies or lenders are on board with the RON Concept, especially some having discrepancies with Indiana RONs. However, if your State approves you, you could always advertise yourself on Google Business, free to have and operate.
As far as is the site is RON Certified, DocVerify is authorized in certain States as a RON Vendor. You will have to find additional information from your Secretary/Department of State's website to see if they approve DocVerify.
I hope this helps!
Respectfully,
