How do I deploy the solution in places of little or no data connectivity?

We have a few sites of our customers where there is very little or no data connectivity. When the parent company/site runs on ByDesign, the idea is to run the sister/child entity to run on ByDesign as well. However, without data connectivity, this is a challenge

Hi Sudhir, What does “very little connectivity” specifically mean? SAP Business ByDesign was designed to be very Wide Area Network (WAN) friendly. On average, SAP Business ByDesign requires only about 15kbps network bandwidth. But, if it means that there is no data connectivity at all or that the connection goes up and down randomly, then SAP Business ByDesign is not for them. Generally, the recommendation is to use an OnPrem ERP for these cases, e.g. SAP Business One for smaller enterprises, and integrate it with SAP Business ByDesign. An other idea would be to use satellite internet connection. Now that e.g. SpaceX is rolling out Starlink, this might be an option that you could look at in the very near future. The press is reporting that the bandwidth will be around 70Mbps with costs around $100 USD / month. But I do not know which geographies are supported. I hope this helps. Best regards, Ingo
