Asking a person to download an app from a link can be a big ask - so the deepview is meant to give them a preview of that link and content if they are coming from a channel where they don't have an understanding of the content/action they would consume in the app. If you can show the user a content preview in the channel where the link is shared or have a web version of that content, the deepview is not necessary!
