Why does this player lags/shutters in blue ray formats?

Why does this player lags in playing video formats like blue ray and also the playback speed available in the player are not planned properly like 1.5x and 2.0x but no 2.5x or 3.5x through keyborad.I think the developers should work on it ,

I think the App is either not updated or is not able to play that format, worry not though as you can convert the video to the desired file type, it should work fine now.
