Should contacts be managed within zoho camaign or zoho crm once a campaign is launched?

concerned duplication of records is created when contacts will also become leades/contacts in CRM without sufficient account information.

Hi Angelo, It depends on your needs. Both CRM and Campigns can be the master database. Scenario 1. If you receive leads on CRM. You can sync those leads to Campigns to send emails to them. The information on the activity (email sent, email read, link followed) is synced back to CRM. Scenario 2. You have a database of contacts in Campaigns. You can create rules so when, for example, a contact follows a link on a email campaign is automatically created as a Lead in CRM. Hope this helps. Gabriel

I am not familiar with CRM, as I use Zoho Creator for my database. There is no two way interaction between the two, so I manage my contacts via Creator, which in turn updates Campaign. I believe that there is a 2 way interaction between CRM and Campaign. In which case you can do your updates from whichever module is more convenient or flexible.
