What is the possibility of integration with other applications?

We use an ERP (FOCUS) mainly for logging sales, stocks and revenue. We also use a Service Desk application (Zoho Desk) as a help desk tool to oversee the support tickets and resolution. How easy will be an integration and will it cost me a bomb?

Why would you need Salesforce if your ERP is logging sales and you have Zoho for ticket monitoring? From an integration standpoint, you can integrate just about anything with Salesforce. You can create your own api calls and there are several methods around that. Or depending on software, they may have a built in integration that you can connect and then you just configure it through the software. You can also look at jitterbit for integrations as well. The effort just depends on how deep you want to go. You should also ask yourself, what am I getting by using Salesforce? How is this going to help me?
