Just wondering whether there are any plans to have Solaris X86, remain in the race of PC Operating Systems -going forward. It would be great if Oracle offered the two Solutions Solaris X86 &and Linux in Parallel.

That is the million dollar question, we just don't know what Oracle's future plans for Solaris X86 might be or whether it has been laid to rest permanently or it would get revived autonomously . However, having worked with both Operating systems and their earlier limitations, my humble opinion, Linux still connotes the feel of a souped-up Pinto and Solaris, though shelved continues to carry the royal image of its bigger brother Solaris -Sparc , which has the vested prestige of a Lincoln.
