Can I store the conversations of meetings in different category ? and track progress of a lead ?

I have mentioned the problem I faced with Zoho CRM in the review and my question is related to the same problem. I would like if I could manage the leads with conversations and categories. I would also like automatic follow up emails and notifications on the response.
