We often used GoogleHangouts for a staffwide meeting and because we all worked remotely, it was difficult to put faces to names when you can only see the first few people who are talking. It's just nice to see everyone's faces.

I would not recommend using Google Hangouts anymore as it is going away. Use Google Meets instead. Everyone shows up as a tile in front of you. It is very easy to do and you can set up meetings right from your calendar.
