How do I integrate Excel spreadsheets into Basecamp, e.g., ToDo List?

I simply insert an Excel file to a given folder I want to share. I use this method to share with clients our retained search candidate funnel statistics, along with other relevant material, such as our screened and qualified candidate presentations. Our clients can access the project we have designated for their use and view any file we have provided. For instance, we may have on our To-Do list releasing an update on our performance. We can add in the relevant task comments, which can include an attachment. Alternatively, we can provide in a folder identified as "Search Performance" the most current Excel file performance or all of our weekly performance reports released.
