The best is to review the documentation that is available at the OpenOffice download site. Help menus are also part of each program. You may also want to download LibreOffice. Also, open source, but it seems to be updated more frequently. There is a foundation connection between both programs as I understand it. LibreOffice program documentation and help materials are here: https://documentation.libreoffice.org/en/english-documentation/
