How should I export my designs to be compatible with Adobe Illustrator?

I would like to touch up some designs I made in Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator but I would like to know which format is more compatible with Illustrator.

PDF is the best option to move across design software. Save your file with PDF and open it on the other platform.
