We use activeback up suite to secure our Microsoft 365 data to our on premise NAS
When I was new to linux I accidentally dumped a directory. > 100k files lost! I had to buy other s'ware to recover, still not out of the woods, as all 'filenames' were irretreivably separated from the files contents. The backup was *WORTHLESS*.
Veeam is very easy to set up, I have it set up on a Windows Server, no virtual servers. I had problems connecting it to the Cloud Bucket, but I was able to find a provider who could help me set it up with the correct passwords.
Cloud MUST be an extension of my actual repository space and VEEAM can not manage it as an independent space, that makes google cloud storage not flexible at all.
