System runtime was one of the key points to use kubuntu, a very light distro on resources so we use that at our main database server and it works very well in high traffic also.
It's not as seamless as original flavour of Ubuntu. Moreover, some packages are not fully integrated with KDE which makes UI/UX bit inconsistent.
I like the KDE desktop, it gives me a feeling of working on Windows with a taskbar, file and program search. The fort of Neptune is the multimedia part, it is perfect to work with all the necessary tools.
Could have had much more functionality within the builder
