My perspective of Microsoft is the use of current standard industry functionality across their product lines. Some functionality was missed in Azure Archive Storage so it was a dissappointment.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure archive storage is long term data storage option. It is highly secure and very cost-effective. Easy to store unstructured data, and you can also do online backups.
The main challenge i faced is that operating in a volumetric data environmnet to consumes a lot of time to take the backup of data and then reinstate it and also sometimes it will not meet the legal compliance
