DocumentDB only supports a limited number of ec2 types, which is not flexible. Even though DocumentDB is MongoDB API compatible, it still doesn't support some of the MongoDB features, so it won't be easy to migrate a backend from Mongo to DocumentDB

MongoDb has the absolute worst account managers out there. Literally can't even take a payment and we have to manually make a payment every month because of their incompetence. Escalating to anyone in the team ends up nowhere, as other people don't know...
