What is a good way to ensure that applications are not getting lost?We have some applications that come through on a delayed schedule and sometimes when we see them.
Hi Doug,
Thanks for reaching out! I have a few suggestions on how you can ensure no one slips through the cracks.
1. Implement a strong internal process of "who owns what", if you know that X person is responsible for reviewing applicants and moving them to candidates, that person can take ownership of a step. Additionally being diligent in moving someone to candidates when ready ( I recommend once you want to reach out and initiate conversation) can make it clear what needs to be done in the applicants tab.
2. Download our mobile app. The app allows you to review and initiate conversation with an applicant right from your phone. If you find you are not at your desk or a computer for long periods of time, this can help keep you up to speed.
3. Use our, recently updated, candidate search feature. This functions as a candidate database for anyone that has applied to the account. Putting all of your applicant pools into one bucket that you can then sort using smart filters.
If you want to talk 1-1 about any of these suggestions, please reach out to me at krossow@hireology.com.
Best,
Kirsten
I have adjusted my notifications to be informed when an applicant applies. It will also show applicants as viewed or not viewed. I move candidates to "advance" if they are in consideration to be sure none get lost.

Would you all ever consider an applicant home page?A page where all specific applicant information can be found. Somewhere we can view all notes and previous interviews for different jobs/locations in one place.
Hi Kausha,
Thanks for the question! It sounds like you are describing our candidate search feature. This can be found at the top of your account by clicking "candidates". Candidate search puts your entire applicant database into one bucket that you can then refine down using smart filters. I would recommend tagging your applicants and then sorting by a specific tag when reviewing the database.
If this is not the experience you are describing, I would love to talk more to better understand. You can reach out to me at krossow@hireology.com.
Best,
Kirsten
Yes, I think that would be a great asset.
