Question on: Particle

We are about to scale up the number of devices in service. What pitfalls should we avoid?

We are going from R&D into production so the number of units deployed will grow over the next year. Are there steps we can take to minimize the potential complexities and problems?

Hey there Michael, biggest tip would be to make sure that your application is built against Device OS 2.x and above, which is our stable release branch designed for enterprise reliability. You'd also probably like to hear from folks in our community (not just me), so I encourage you to post this at community.particle.io where I'm sure you'll get lots of engagement from folks who are deploying with Particle today.

Hi , I have currently started to do projects using Photon .At present I am looking for job in IT sector . Can you help me through it.

Hey Naveen – that's awesome! There are a number of folks in our community (community.particle.io) who have gotten involved in open source projects as a way to sharpen their development skills and have even done paid development work on the Particle platform. There are tons of folks there who would give you pointers, so I encourage you to post in our forums as well if you haven't already :-)

Question on: Particle

I was thinking, except of using two Photons, using a RasPi in combination with an Electron(?) in my furniture.

The floor of the Chair measures weight, the table measures inclination, vibration and light, and the table controls the lamp and the "pomodoro stripe" (see website for understanding). I refrained from having long cables between the two units, thus WiFi. But I figure, BTLE might be more useful, and some more computing power might also help, especially when the Chair stands somewhere exposed and I'd like to see who's sitting in it and doing what (mischief prevention), but also user-dependent settings would be cool, supported by OpenCV or something.
