What do you like best about Data Loader?

Data Loader is a fantastic tool to log in to org and perform Bulk operations using Bulk API.

Suppose we want to load some data to the org, which is 50K records which we cannot do one by one, SO here comes Data loader, which will perform the task in one shot. We have to create a CSV of the records and complete the Action.

We can perform Insertion and Upsert of records using Bulk Api in one shot which makes the task of admin A lot more straightforward.

We can direct Login to the Org where we want to perform the Action use the CSV, and result of the DML will be available in a downloadable file Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Data Loader?

i like its ability to read,extract and load data from CSV files.it requires only a few steps to access.it has the potential to migrate more than 50,000 data at ago and i like how fast it can do such.the data loading process is very much intuitive especially to those ones using it for the fast time.The UI is also simple to apply.it is flexible and employees may chose where to use it.its pricing is not much expensive and i like on how user friendly it is too.automation is excellent. What do you like best about Data Loader?

This is very good product as we use this for in Oracle EBS deployment in our organization. We utilize Data loader over other products when we need to reference other objects in ERP and don't have IDs. The main advantage to using the Data loader app is that is saves countless hours versus doing manual data entry into the database.When I imported a file and it failed for any reason, Data loader notified me and kept the file in a history for me to re-execute anytime. What do you dislike about Data Loader?

can't find a way to rename jobs. This would be useful to organize what was previously created .Further, You cannot export more than 10,000 rows using Data loader.The error messages in CSV file sometimes are not quite clear. Users hardly find a solution in fixing the errors. Additionally, Sometimes exports fail. one more point Mapping fields especially with ObjectID is sometimes not quite smooth Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This a powerful tool that allows the user to import, export and update data in organization through the use of this tool. It allows for saved file field mapping from various file types, including CSV, which is essential when making sure the data being imported correctly and that particular mapping can be saved for future use. The errors and success files after performing an action can be mapped to your local computer instance, which is very helpful for testing purposes and solving any potential issues. What do you dislike about Data Loader?

The ability to see what organization your are loading into throughout the entire data alteration process, not just the initial login screen. Many users want to make sure they are performing the action in the right instance, whether that is in production or a sandbox organization. Having a preview screen of the success and error files would be a great feature to add, so that the user does not have to move out of the Data Loader application.
