What do you like best about Carepatron?

I trialed a bunch of EHR systems when starting my private practice, and I preferred Carepatron by a mile. The platform is incredibly easy to use and very intuitive. I find that I have no trouble navigating, and everything is customizable. I always approach from a client perspective, and I think that this EHR gives clients the exact experience that they're looking for. No one showed up to the 1:1 informational session that I scheduled, which was disappointing, as I had a lot of questions to get answered! What do you like best about AxisCare Home Care Software?

What I personally like best is that it helps me do my job accordingly and efficiently this program makes it to where we control the settings. Our employees are. able to clock in and out they are able to have access to view their schedules. Axis care. Keeps track of the hours and alert us when we have made a mistake and double scheduled an employee they also have room for detailed notes which we can go back and view at a later date. What do you dislike about AxisCare Home Care Software?

So the one thing that I would change about this program is that when we have a cancellation and we put it in the system it still shows on the employees schedule as an active visit. In the past we.have had several employees show up who have been canceled due to this feature. Designed specifically for the homecare sector, it includes all the features and functionalities we were looking for. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy to learn and train new staff.

I use Therap as a business admin. This is the worst, most user unfriendly software I've ever had the displeasure of using. Simple tasks are frustratingly difficult, the menu is outdated and clunky. They have an entire library of "how to" videos.... Helpful right? Wrong! The search function litters your results with unrelated content that you have to sift through yourself. Also, what other platform do you use that a library of how to do simple tasks (track meds, assign staff, etc) is even necessary? Our employees hate it, I hate it, our owner hates it, but because it's the software the state "recommends" we have to use it for compliance reasons. It's also very overpriced. If you're getting into a field of work where using Therap is necessary, I hope you have more patience and free time than I do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ShiftCare?

ShiftCare has been great for keeping the client documents secure and easy to access for clients and staff. Scheduling is easy with a good amount of customisability, allowing me to add a good amount of detail to shifts for workers. ShiftCare linking to Xero has been great for streamlining invoicing, which has saved plenty of admin time. I have not had any issues using the app yet after over 12 months. I am confident that if there were any issues with the app or any of the software that it would be solved quickly. DrChrono is hands down one of the worst platforms I’ve ever encountered. Their customer support is abysmal—slow, unhelpful, and completely lacking in empathy. If you have an issue (which you will), don’t expect timely or meaningful assistance.

Beyond that, their business practices are deceptive. They make promises they don’t keep, and once they have your money, good luck getting any resolution.

The platform itself is outdated and clunky. The UI is frustratingly bad, making even simple tasks a headache. It feels like it hasn’t been updated in years, yet they still charge premium prices.

I love how easy it is to use Carevoyant. Both from a nursing perspective, and from a clinical supervisor perspective. I teach how to chart on Carevoyant for new hires. They are able to quickly comprehend how to use Carevoyant. Very simple to chart accurately, and thoroughly.

I love how Carevoyant has a someone answer any questions in a very timely manner via email. The turnaround is very quick.

It would be helpful if medicines would be alphabetized on Careplans when completing a POC/485. Currently meds only display in the order they were put in.

What do you like best about Ensora Rehab Therapy Suite (formerly Fusion Web Clinic)?

As a speech pathologist, data is key. I love that I see the goals each time I open a note for my session. I love that I can add both a percentage as well as some clarifying notes. I love that there is goal button both on the note and on the appointment so I can look at a graph of when we worked on each goal, see the progression over time and plan my session. This is extremely helpful in a busy practice. It is very easy to schedule and I like that I can prest things, I can set different appointment types and I can color code them! Being a visual person, I love that I can differentiate what appointment is an evaluation, a meeting or a therapy session quickly and easily! I looked at many programs and this one fit all the things that I wanted. In addition, they have been very helpful and I am always able to get a quick answer to any questions that I have and my questions have always been answered quickly and in a way that makes it easy to figure out what to do! I would like to see group billing. I provide services to a school and it would be nice to put all the invoices under one payer/header to make it a little easier but I may just not have found the way to do this as of yet. What problems is Ensora Rehab Therapy Suite (formerly Fusion Web Clinic) solving and how is that benefiting you?

I needed a solution that had everything in one place. I wanted to be able to have my schedule, keep my notes and evaluations, bill private pay and bill insurance but in an organized and easy way and this was the only option that I found that met all my needs. The biggest selling point was the ability to collect data and see graphs showing me when the goal was worked on and be able to see the progression over time. What do you like best about AdvancedMD?

Once you have set up the system, it is easy to navigate. It is easy to post, and it is easy to run reports. Everything in the system is time and user stamped so it is also easy to track who did what and when. This is a great feature for accountablity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AdvancedMD?

I would like to be able to run more inclusive reports. A lot of the reports available, you have to piece together. They do have options for this at an additional charge, but if you do not want to spend that extra money for this feature, then you are left to run multiple reports. There are not many problems that I am currently solving with AdvancedBilling but there is a team that can help you via phone or chat. What do you like best about TherapyNotes?

What I appreciate most about TherapyNotes is how intuitive and user-friendly the system is. Their customer service team is exceptional—always responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely supportive. The billing structure is easy to understand, even for those new to private practice, and the abundance of tutorials helps me stay current with new features and best practices. I also value how responsive they are to provider feedback. When I’ve suggested improvements, they’ve not only listened but sometimes rolled out updates shortly after—often accompanied by a helpful blog post. What do you dislike about TherapyNotes?

Honestly, there’s very little I dislike about TherapyNotes. If anything, I’d say that in their effort to stay current and meet the needs of a wide range of therapists, some updates can occasionally add extra steps to our workflow. One feature I would love to see improved is the messaging system. While I appreciate the ability to message clients individually, it would be incredibly helpful to have a group messaging option. This would allow practices like mine to send announcements—such as office closures or holiday reminders—to all clients at once. I’ve shared this feedback with them, and knowing how responsive they are, I’m hopeful it’s something they’ll consider. Regardless, I’m still very happy to have TherapyNotes as part of my practice. Where do I begin? TherapyNotes has streamlined so many aspects of my practice—from billing support through ERA and EDI features to efficient scheduling and seamless clinical documentation, especially with the new AI-assisted note-writing tool. Their messaging feature is a welcome addition, and the more I can manage within a single platform, the better. What sets them apart is their forward thinking—like the upcoming ability to upload Professional Wills, which is an essential but often overlooked aspect of private practice.
