Tracking is a big one for us. When a doctor says he or she only spent 10 minutes with the patient, we can pull reports. Practice Better allows me to manage both clinical and administrative tasks seamlessly within one platform. So far we haven't come across any issues that we don't like. If Payments could be integrated with Ezyvet that would be awesome. (We would have used Weave for payments, but it didn't integrate and the charges were more than what we were paying with our current provider.) Because I love the functionality of Weave, I would love if they developed an HR tool with AI dictation for corrective action and performance review meetings that could be uploaded into their personnel file. It gives us better access to our clients - communication is so vital when working with clients and their pets. The owners are who we work with day to day, but we are treating a patient that can't tell us anything. Making sure we are in close communication, especially when patients are in critical condition, is one of the most beneficial features for us. The customizable forms have helped us set ourselves up for success in being able to send those ahead of time, making check in and processing times more efficient and smooth. At this stage, there is nothing we dislike. However, since we are still in the early stages, there have been moments where the system feels a bit overwhelming just because it offers so many features. At Doral Med and Rehab, iCare is helping us stay fully electronic from day one. It keeps everything in one place, from patient records and scheduling to billing and reporting. Even when insurance companies do not accept electronic claims, we can print directly from iCare without extra steps. This saves time and keeps our workflow clean. Medent has a great suite of reports that are easily accessed. The EHR is very easy to use and is very intuitive. We use it for scheduling, billing, posting payments, maintaining patient records - basically everything that a medical office needs, except for accounting/banking (we use Quickbooks). Billing has always been a complex situation in my practice. ClinicMind and their staff helps streamline this process and make sense of the complexity. ECP could improve the bowel monitoring process. There is not really anything in place currently to be able to quickly see who has not had a BM in x amount of days. This would be a huge benfit to our staff and residents. Additionally a "911 quick print" button would be very helpful for emergency situations. ECP is a very quick, sleek and smooth EMAR system. Our previous EMAR was so slow and caused a significant amount of issues for many years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have not found any downsides so far. If I have to come up with one thing, is that our families often question certain features we allow to be offered, such as labels and insurance. I wish there was a way to provide that information, directly with those offers, that it is not offered directly by the university. Nor do we have information about the products/services. I would like to see group billing. I provide services to a school and it would be nice to put all the invoices under one payer/header to make it a little easier but I may just not have found the way to do this as of yet. I needed a solution that had everything in one place. I wanted to be able to have my schedule, keep my notes and evaluations, bill private pay and bill insurance but in an organized and easy way and this was the only option that I found that met all my needs. The biggest selling point was the ability to collect data and see graphs showing me when the goal was worked on and be able to see the progression over time. Multiple LLCs can be tricky to implement. If all of your locations follow the same logo, branding, names, this is not an issue. Klara needs to be whitelisted with Mod Med. Also when a patient cancels or requests to reschedule, it takes the patient off the schedule - which is great. But if the patien then turns around before the appointment and changes it to Confirm, it puts them back in that slot. We were having to make alot of outbound calls, especially from the call center. So our answering phones percentage was extremely poor. Having Klara being used by the call center has allowed our answer rate to be at 80% and higher for inbound calls. We were struggling at 50% answer rate. When a patient is scheduled an appt, either via the call center or after a check out, Klara automatically sends them their scheduled appt date and time.
