What do you like best about Xref?

Easy to use - Jess and James are always so helpful especially with my daily requests to send new access links to reactivate candidates. Haven't used competitors to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xref?

its annoying that we can resend access links to candidates and its frustrating how after 21 days, the candidate can't access the xref platform with the link. I would like to see what the candidates see on their end and also what information is being sent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The bulk reference request is one of the features our customers like the most, allowing them to send up to 100 references in one go, meaning you don't have to send references separately.

You can also send all your pre-employment checks in one go with your Xref reference and this means you don't have to send your reference checks separately, allowing you to secure feedback fast and reduce time to hire.

We appreciate the feedback you have given with regard to emails going into junk folders. Our recommendation is to let your candidates know they will receive a reference check request via email and that they should keep an eye out for that. If they haven't received it from you in a certain amount of time, they should check their junk email folder. You can also encourage candidates to mark Xref as a safe sender.

It can also be helpful to have your candidates pass the same information on to their referees so the referees know to expect an email from Xref and can mark us as a safe sender.

Like you Samantha, many of our customers say Xref saves them time by reducing the need to play phone tag and do manual, over the phone references. This means organisations using Xref also receive better feedback and insights as the referees can consider their responses as they were not caught on the spot by a phone call.

What do you like best about Xref?

Xref is incredibly helpful how it will automatically send information to our candidates for them to submit reference information, all I have to do is put the candidate in XRef status and everything is taken care of from there. It feels like references are literally as easy as clicking a button. Its a new favorite part of my job to review the reference information. I love how I did not have to collect those reference details and input information into our system manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xref?

I wish xref would be more responsive with our applicant tracking system when we put candidates in the archive. Especially when people withdraw from our process. When someone withdraws, I will archive them in their system but they still receive emails from xref asking them to submit their reference information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Xref?

I like the ease of use for Xref. The navigating options/directions are crystal clear and it leaves less to do for the user (being able to send options with just a few clicks). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With regard to your feedback about having the reports emailed as a PDF - we aim to keep all completed reference check reports secure in our ISO27001 certified and GPDR compliant platform. This also makes it easy to find and refer back to later. However, you can download a report, please speak with our Customer Success team who can show you how.

What do you like best about Xref?

Xref is such a simple tool to use. References come back very quickly. Hiring managers and candidates both like to process and the flexibility. I am not aware of the competitors' functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
