SAS Visual Analytics is an enterprise level solution tool aimed at various sectors of different industries in which it offers dashboards, ETL capabilities, data mining, analysis, writing and querying of reports, among other functions that you can implement all within the same application with excellent integration. It is a fully comprehensive tool in which you can also create a portfolio of dashboards for various lines of business facilitating the best level of future negotiations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although SAS Visual Analytics is a very complete tool in all aspects is important to note that it has several features that play against it in which we can find mainly the initial cost of the service, well known that gives you many comforts but the cost per acquisition is expensive as it has deficiency in visualization of templates and lack of diversification of use tutorials and it seems that they are aimed at a specific sector of professionals and not any industry Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It contains excellent integration tools that help the work dynamic: ETL, web services, communication panels, etc.The analysis and reports are high quality and they optimize the work processes at a high level, it's worth the investment. This software is too intuitive, it becomes very simple and advances quickly in the project studies. It has an effective exploratory data analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price is very high, which prevents companies that are starting up from being able to afford the service, however it contains a free trial. Perhaps the statistical analysis program could be more complete, a warehouse for the files and a statistical process control would be ideal to complete the program. It does not contain an option to create Power Point style presentations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a great tool allows clear statistics the data loading process is great for visual batches provides advanced analytical functions overall it is one of the most key products in a complex and secure way can connect with all targets of all industries by multiple departments works and monitors analysis training in person webinars supporting documentation in working hours based on the cloud with forecasting and discovery of associations in time series ensures quality control in production manufacturing throughout the organization links powerful statistics on the desktop generally easy to use in customer services based on the ability to run Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Despite being one of the most complete records are misleading and its ability to connect confusingly on the network creating product complexity often has extreme variations in syntax then it costs the analysis of the products for customers to determine their purchases online leaving the documentation and formation of forums by web and cloud media getting hung up on different functions and applications so incomplete only confusing platforms are supported difficult to learn warnings per session loses the route to continue the link between all industries at high costs in the licenses throwing without effect the purchase for new contracts in the market Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
SAS Visual Analytics is a powerful cloud-based business solution tool designed for different companies. It has several positive features that make it a truly complete application, including online analytical processing, query and report writing, data mining, predictive analysis and data warehousing, and very efficient technical support by phone and email, as well as a large online knowledge base that allows a much better understanding of the operation of this software. Within my experience using SAS Visual Analytics I must say that it still has some deficient features that should be improved first mind its price is an extremely expensive software this makes it sometimes not an eligible option for many companies, you need to make an improvement to the visualization templates like transformations a critical point is the need that exists in the connectivity with other sources should add reports that are more inclined to the practical and not so much to the technical as we are talking about an application that has some degree of complexity. In memory analytics, analyze large data, lots of graphics options for data exploration, can import data from UI as well Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Installation, maintenance, it requires to store data in SAS HDAT format for persistence storage for distributed installation which makes it complex. limitation to export to PDF (export is not good) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ability to interact with other databases quickly - i.e. add data to the Laser server from Hadoop.
It can create great insights into the data very easily through the build in tools - lots for graph to choose from. Predictive analytic options are good.
It can be understood by colleagues who may not technically savvy - better to show someone something in SAS VA than just a table.
SAS have a great support team and will do what they can to make something possible if you are struggling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reliance on the Laser server - means if you don't have much space have to remove things. We are competitors appear to allow you to feed in from non-SAS memory. The fact there is/was no undo button - this was a serious design flaw that meant if you hadn't saved your recent work, and wanted to undo something that was, you would have to go back to when you last saved. Aspects that you cannot customise, such as borders, sometimes weren't the preference of the customer but you wouldn't be able to change them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
