I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING THAT I DON'T LIKE Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Fiddler is very upfront about what it does and provides an easy to use interface to do it. It is clear where I am supposed to input my requests as well as the request body and authentication information (among other things). It is also very easy for me to see my past requests and past results. They are all present on the same page which is nice because I don't have to navigate to multiple different locations. I dislike that Fiddler seems rather limited in its capabilities. It does not have a whole lot of functionality outside of simple REST requests that are run one at a time. I also do not like that I have to manually type out entire REST requests with exactly perfect syntax. It would be nice if it could do this in a more automated fashion. The best thing I like about fiddler is that while developing whenever I get an error and if I want to see what services are firing on particular button , i simply start fiddler and capture the traffic due to which I can easily understand overall data flow of traffic. The one thing that I dislike i that ui is not user friendly as it takes time to understand the environment to new person . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We use fiddler for our day to day activity of recording the application flow, capturing the rendering times of the pages, checking the network and latency and on many occasions debugging the issue as well. We like the way how we can save our session and import them in loadrunner to create loadrunner compatible custom requests. That makes easy for us to capture those request which are not captured in loadrunner and since we can import them directly into loadrunner that makes this tool very very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While importing the requests captured in fiddler to loadrunner, presently it just imports them and create custom request. But in cases where we have huge no of requests which are needed to be imported, it becomes difficult in loadrunner to match how many requests are for which transaction. We would love to have a feature where while importing fiddler also create transactions in loadrunner on the basis of comments we have given for group of transactions. Fiddler is the best web sniffer software tool with high quality proxy solution for web debugging. It is platform independent, OS independent and compatible with almost all browsers and also its "Free". It allows manipulation of web sessions with simple breakpoints and pause sessions. For intercepting network traffic at HTTPS endpoints Fiddler inserts new certificate in SSL keychain for decryption. There are many plugins available for Fiddler. Some of the plugins can perform advance analysis of a website like generating content security policy and input fuzzing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
