What do you like best about PostgreSQL?

Its opensource, lightweight DB. It provide good features to play with JSON structured data. More intuitive features available like filter , sorting , structuring data using Json syntax.

Most preferable db on cloud. very easy to optimize and analyze query performance . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostgreSQL?

crash when play with millions of data. quiet slow processing with millions data. Need to setup always custom configuration for best performance. some Query syntax is different from other PL/SQL Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostgreSQL?

There is no clear documentation available on the official website , the search is is not good related to finding docs,especially once related to configuring the database itself on the machines and different OS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PostgreSQL?

What do you like best about PostgreSQL?

We are using postgresql since 1 year, Eady and readymade query operations such as upadte delete,insert is very helpful and as compare to other database vendors postgresql is very scalable as well as powerful and simple to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Need more stabilisation some functionality like when we are inserting data into row without query we are unable to insert but 'edit' option is available and connection issue need to fix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

my compony is using this database from last 10-12 years. very easy to use, provides security by default. Provides easy setup.

Postgres is a great DB, allow you to do everything that others DB, but additional I found I can use pg_notify to send some kind of broadcast notification, this is great and an option to communicate to others software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
